I ran out of chicken for the moment, so as good measure, I opted in some carrots to fulfill the veggie group in my food pyramid diet. The little sausage was enough to satisfy my meat needs.

This is the same as my dinner on Sunday. But with bigger portions. There’s quite a bit of ‘sauce’ from the broiled mackerel. It’s not bad when mixed in with the soy sauce, but I think I prefer not using so much.

I haven’t eaten anything all day, and my stomach has been giving me cramps throughout. So I decided to treat myself to something different. It looks kinda gross or weird, but I assure that it’s really tasty and so simple to make. My mom taught me how to make it as a side dish. Basically just tofu and preserved duck eggs (like the kind you get in rice porridge) topped with soy sauce and sesame seed oil for taste.

These microwave chicken meals still aren’t getting old. I think it’s the ‘plain’ taste that keeps it enjoyable. And I do enjoy it.

I’ve been out and about all day running errands, waiting for this moment. It’s been a little over a week now since I’ve had my steady diet of chicken breasts and rice. I actually started to go through withdrawal these past couple days. Nothing serious, just little cravings here and there. Anyway, I’m going to dig in.
